Hopo accepts all Australian concession cards and companion cards. Companions travel for free with the purchase of a ticket by the cardholder, check the website https://hopo.com.au/accessibility/ accessibility information. Unfortunately, you can not pay with your Go Card. Hopo is a privately funded public transport, and is not part of the Queensland government funded Go Card network.
Tickets can be purchased onboard (cashless payments only), online via the HOPO website, or at select hotel desks.
Please note: cash is not accepted for safety and security reasons. If you would like to pay cash, you can buy your ticket at Sea World Cruises Terminal, Main Beach.
You do not need to book your seat on the ferry. Simply wait for the next arriving ferry with your ticket, or purchase a ticket onboard.
